  4 stars for the decor and the atmosphere. This place gets packed, everyone seems to have fun. A real lively venue. The food although cooked and served by Mexican-American staff, is not real authentic Mexican. Sauces seem flour laden and heavy, as though it was started with a rue instead of a sofrito. The locals seem to love it though, maybe it's just the booze. Fun place, go there!

  One of the only places I know that had truly vegetable enchiladas. I thought the service was great. The meal was great. The chips and salsa are fresh. You even get a hotel discount if you tell them you are staying at the SpringHill across the street. I am withholding the fifth star only because I am from Texas and Nicky's isn't like back home.
